The rainy season has only just started and the people were already struggling because of the pandemic.
On the night of the 7th July The Gambia was hit by a devastating storm with high winds & hailstones!
The storm has caused substantial damage to properties, houses & building losing roofs and many left homeless and possessions destroyed.
Lisa Kent Trust has been fortunate our schools, having been built to a high standard, survived without damaged, but many of the local State Schools are unusable.
Power and water supplies are lost and the need to supply drinking water is critical.
